The O-Shot®, (short for the Orgasm Shot) is a quick and painless procedure developed by Dr. Charles Runels, and has been helping women around the world. Using innovative platelet-rich plasma (PRP) technology whereby a clients’ own blood is drawn to extract the PRP and then injected into the vagina and clitoris. The O-shot improves local tissue integrity and function due to the regenerative effects of stimulating collagen, elastin, and fibrin. Overall function is often enhanced (lubrication, sensation, orgasm) but this varies from individual to individual.
How long does it take for the O shot to work?
You may experience an increase in sexual desire and pleasure immediately, but full results are usually enjoyed after 3 months. Generally, women will begin to experience heightened sensation in the first 3-7 days and new tissue will begin to develop over the next 3-9 weeks.
The O-Shot® lasts up to three years or longer in some women. However, on average, women choose to repeat the procedure every 18 months to maintain their results.
